Curiosity is humanity’s most defining characteristic. We handle things until we know them. We use our sense organs to understand objects. Everyone’s first intentional act is to reach for and bring something to their mouth. Where language fails, the information provided by taste and smell is utterly indispensable. As we learn to express ourselves, our attempts at communicating with food and drink are not diminished but refined and explored daily. With curiosity comes an ever finer ability to use these sensory languages.
With this site, I’d like to share my own exploration into all things ingestable. While this ensures that I will create some unfortunate disasters, it is certain that many beautiful (and repeatable) creations will result as well.
